"When we first met Shirley Morgan, we felt that she was professional, experienced, creative, and definitely detail-oriented, and we liked the work sample she showed us. Once we signed the contract, Shirley became a friend and an adviser to me (the bride) on any questions I had about anything regarding the wedding. I found Shirley's insight and advice (based on her experience) to be extremely valuable.
Then our respect for her increased as we experienced her work ethics. I don't think Shirley could have worked any harder for us, and her dedication for the highest quality of work was evident. During our wedding day, Shirley and her partner Courtney were professional, pleasant and totally nondisruptive to our guests, even though we had very tight space at the wedding site which definitely made their job harder. During the development process, Shirley gave us many opportunities for our input (which at many times caused more work for her). The end product (our wedding DVD set) is just unbelievable and completely exceeded our expectations.
The DVD case itself is a piece of art with beautiful front- and back-cover design with photos from our wedding and reception. Each DVD inside is designed with beautiful pictures. The DVD's main menu screen is designed with beautiful and meaningful pictures along with multiple buttons for scene selection. Each button actually contains a little movie inside---this is just an incredible effect and we have never seen anything like it! Shirley designed a 2-minute "prelude" which was just so romantic and tastefully done. I never like to watch myself on video, but this was like watching "movie stars" on screen as it was just so beautiful that no words could describe the feeling we have watching it. Our slow-motion highlights could not have been more perfect. It was like Shirley captured every moment that was important to us. I couldn't have told the story better myself. The wedding and reception video is unbelievably well done. I am amazed at the quality of every shot and sound, especially during the ceremony as all the sound was picked by the little microphone worn by my husband. Shirley gave special attention to how each chapter transitions into another, using special effect many times to make sure that the transition is seamless yet exciting. I remember at the end of our reception Shirley stole my husband and I for 2 minutes to shoot a special scene. Now we can see that she used that scene to bring a romantic ending to our video, which is just perfect.
Without any hesitation, we would hire Shirley again if we ever need a videographer for another important event in our life. We would recommend Shirley highly and proudly to any of our friends. We are so fortunate that we made the decision to hire Shirley to document and preserve the most important day in our life. We will treasure our wedding DVD for the rest of our lives.
